X _ A Suspicious Social Network

Post n° 8

Since the former Twitter was acquired by Elon Musk, things seem to have gotten worse. The American tycoon is very rich, and it's precisely his wealth that could lead him to loosen his grip on his greed, making X a more accessible social network... But it's not so much the many unlockable features (only with a subscription), but rather the enormous distrust surrounding this social network that really bothers me. I've created many accounts with X in the past, almost all of which ended up in the garbage, as their control system (on supposedly fake accounts) exerts a decidedly annoying pressure: it takes about 7-10 days for the anti-spam controls to stop breathing down the neck of a newly created free account, as any impulsive action (taken before the 10 days) is considered a "hostile act," and the control system either suspends or blocks your account. Why does it take 10 days to validate an account? Why do I only start seeing the number of views my posts get after 7-10 days? Why do I have a feeling that the views on X are generated by fake bots? And then X is the one who distrusts me? There should be another method to verify whether "I'm human or not..." Okay, there's the phone number you can enter and the unblocking for adult content... all procedures designed to facilitate the identification of an account owner, but not everyone is willing to give their personal data to X, as we know full well how these platforms actually use personal data...

A few minutes ago I deleted this account X from subscriptions and posts I'd published. Now I really want to see how long it will take them to ground me again like in kindergarten... As if there were anything serious, true, or truly useful to society on these platforms...
